Embroidery software for Pfaff
Embroidery digitizing software for Pfaff machines.
Qepe writes the VP3 your Pfaff reads, with each thread’s maker, number and name, or a PEC, sized for its hoops and the fields Pfaff publishes, and checks the design against the artwork before it reads the file back and saves it, on a Mac or a Windows PC.
Not released yet. From the first release: 7 days free, then €149 a year.
Launch offer: €99 for the first year, for the first 100 shops.

Set Qepe up for your Pfaff
Choose Pfaff
Click the machine chip in the top bar and pick Pfaff. From then on Qepe writes VP3, counts 1 needle and offers the hoops above.
Let Qepe pick the hoop
With no hoop chosen, Qepe picks the smallest that takes the design, or offers a 90° turn. A design larger than every hoop is split into hoopings, each its own file.
Export VP3
Qepe writes the file, reads it back and compares every needle point with the screen. A file that doesn’t match is never saved.
- In Qepe’s profile, taken from the creative icon’s manual, the machine also reads PES, JEF, EXP, DST and XXX.
Questions
- Which file does a Pfaff embroidery machine read?
- VP3 first, and PEC; the creative icon also reads PES, JEF, EXP, DST and XXX. Qepe writes all of them.

Where the machine figures come from
The model, needles, field and hoops as each maker or its dealer publishes them, collected in Qepe’s machine profiles between 12 and 21 October 2026. Machine names only say which machines Qepe writes for.
