Embroidery software for SWF

Embroidery digitizing software for SWF machines.

Qepe writes the DST your SWF reads, sized for the SWF hoops it knows, with every trim written the way your machine cuts it, and checks the design against the artwork before it reads the file back and saves it, on a Mac or a Windows PC.

Not released yet. From the first release: 7 days free, then €149 a year.

Launch offer: €99 for the first year, for the first 100 shops.

The SWF hoops in Qepe

HoopEmbroidery field
Round 12 cm≈ 110 × 110 mm
Round 15 cm≈ 140 × 140 mm
Round 18 cm≈ 170 × 170 mm
Square 30 × 30 cm≈ 290 × 290 mm
Rectangle 43 × 37 cm≈ 420 × 360 mm
Cap field 36 × 7.5 cm360 × 75 mm

≈ The maker publishes no field for this hoop: Qepe estimates it as the frame less 10 mm. Measure your own and add it as a custom hoop when it matters.

Set Qepe up for your SWF

  1. Choose SWF

Click the machine chip in the top bar and pick SWF. From then on Qepe writes DST, counts 15 needles and offers the hoops above.

  2. Match the trims

Under Trim, set the number of jump codes your machine cuts at, 3 until you change it. Qepe writes every trim that way, and the export says what to set.

  3. Let Qepe pick the hoop

With no hoop chosen, Qepe picks the smallest that takes the design, or offers a 90° turn. A design larger than every hoop is split into hoopings, each its own file.

  4. Export DST

Qepe writes the file, reads it back and compares every needle point with the screen. A file that doesn’t match is never saved.

  • The ES-T1501’s figures come from a dealer’s page; SWF’s own site didn’t list them.
Which file does an SWF embroidery machine read?
DST. Qepe writes it for SWF machines by default.
Which SWF hoops does Qepe know?
Round 12, 15 and 18 cm, a 30 × 30 cm square, a 43 × 37 cm frame and a 36 × 7.5 cm cap field. A field the maker doesn’t publish is estimated as the frame less 10 mm and marked ≈.

Where the machine figures come from

  1. Specifications: signwarehouse.com

The model, needles, field and hoops as each maker or its dealer publishes them, collected in Qepe’s machine profiles between 12 and 21 October 2026. Machine names only say which machines Qepe writes for.
